It's a SLOW GRIND!

I wanted to say hello to the folks in Frankenstein, Germany! Yes. There is such a place.

19 sessions of my songs? I am glad to have you here.

The channel keeps making progress. Slowly, but the trend is up anyway.

Still Growing. Closing in on 15,000 Views.

Well, some of the sizzle seems like it's starting to slow down here on this website, but on YouTube there is definitely growth. Check out the stats for this week.

I'm learning that sometimes it can take years for even one of your songs to be listened to by the recording industry. I'm just going to keep having fun doing what I do. It will lead wherever it leads.

Check out the new album, “Think On It,” only available here.

New Album In The Works

I have been working on a new album, "Think On It," that is for those of you that like sad songs. This is sort of a mix of Country/Pop or Alt-Country. A couple of these songs didn't make the cut on the last album but I wanted to include them here. Here are the first 5 songs. I will have at least 9 songs to complete the album but this may take weeks or months at this point.

YouTube Channel Breaks 11,000 Listens!

Hey, this aint some big time Country/Pop singer here -- it's me. The channel is growing slow but steady - and I'm OK with that. We finally got over 11,500 listens and I'm attracting about 3 new subscribers a day. I think the thing is being consistent, steady and just keep working at it until something happens or it doesn't. In the meantime as long as you are enjoying yourself then that's all that matters.

Approaching 9,000 VIEWS!

Since publishing the “Comeback Tour” album on September 8th, we are fast approaching 9,000 views on my YouTube Music Channel. I guess I was not surprised that most are watching my nature videos. In our new world there are thousands of new songs published daily and it's incredibly difficult to have a song become popular. The bottom line is I enjoy what I am doing – the rest is just gravy.

Top Songs Played This Week

I woke up this morning to find a big response to my new video for, “Comeback Tour.” I guess the public has spoken. The new downloads and listens in order are:

  1. Comeback Tour
  2. I've Been Everywhere
  3. Beside You

There seems to be no doubt that the song is popular but just needed a video to go with it. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I am still actively shopping a singer to go along with this song. I will keep you all posted.

Top Songs Played This Week

Well, I am in the first week since the release of my first album, “Comeback Tour," and I have to tell you that I am amazed at how many of you have listened to my songs!

If any of you are curious I'll give you the breakdown of the top 3 songs:

  1. “Beside You.” This one surprised me but may have something to do with the new release of the video driving more views to the website. I have to admit that it is one of my favorites. It has a good feeling to it and I still enjoy listening to it.
  2. No. It's not what you think. How shocked was I to see that my 2nd track, “I've Been Everywhere,” made number 2. This old song from the 50's has been done by several artists, including Hank Snow and Johnny Cash. I remembered it as a kid. All of the fast talking about all the cities he had been to might have been the first Rap song! I put a new twist on the song so that it is barely recognizable from the original.
  3. And finally, the featured song, and Album Name, “Comeback Tour,” actually came in 3rd. This was the first song I ever wrote. As you can tell there aren't very many lyrics in that one. It's short and sweet and makes the point. An old High School friend of mine from Norman, Oklahoma (Joe) said he listened to that song for about 15 hours on the weekend and his wife was about to hit him with a skillet!! Hysterical.

I wanted to thank all my friends for giving me feedback. I know that not all of my music is for everyone – hopefully you found something you enjoyed.

Make sure to sign up for my newsletter to get notified on my next song or album release. I don't send spam or try and sell anything. It will just let you know that a new song was added.

If you haven't listened or watched the video for, “Beside You,” just click on the link - “Official Music Videos” on my website or you can check it out on Vevo and YouTube.
